Vendor init error when connecting to db2 version 5

Question: I have DLL32 for my DB2 driver in BDE Admin set to SQLDB2V5.DLL. How come whenever I try to connect I get a Vendor Init error? Answer: The most likely cause of this error is that a minimum of DB2 Version 5, FixPack 4 is not installed. Another cause is that the DB2/BIN directory is not in your path.
