Row level locking not supported in drivers other than paradox, dbase and foxpro

Question: How can I get row level locking with a driver other than Paradox, dBASE or Fox (Access, MSSQL, Sybase, Interbase, Informix, DB2, ODBC, Oracle)? Answer: Row level locking is not supported for any driver other than Paradox, dBASE or FoxPro. Using Transactions may give some of the desired support.
